According to the latest estimates as of February 1, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture has estimated the French production of soft wheat for 2022/23 at 33.67 Mt, the same as in December. Barley production increases slightly, standing at 11.39 Mt compared to 11.36 Mt in December (11.46 Mt for the 2021 harvest). Corn production is estimated at 10.82 Mt, which represents a sharp drop of 30.3% compared to the 2021/22 harvest. Finally, rapeseed production remains stable at 4.52 Mt.
